Roma, la ciudad eterna. Aquella que te envuelve con su arquitectura, sus esculturas, su historia... la ciudad museo que no descansa, que vibra desde el amanecer hasta el atardecer, la que te hace sentir que has vuelto al pasado...

Después de 4 días descubriendo cada rincón de Roma, más de 80 kilómetros recorridos a pie, puedo decir que la ciudad me ha cautivado.

La Basílica de San Pedro con su enorme plaza envuelta entre columnas y una de las capillas mundialmente conocida: la capilla sixtina; el castillo de San Ángel, imponente al que le precede el puente que lleva el mismo nombre y que cruza el río Tiber; el panteón, tosco, con mucha historia; el coliseo, donde puedes imaginarte como era el final de un gladiador o como luego se convirtió en un lugar de culto; el foro romano, una ciudad dentro de otra ciudad donde las ruinas nos cuentan lo que allí ha pasado,... todo esto y mucho más es lo que te espera en Roma, una ciudad que te cautivará no sólo por su historia sino también por su gastronomía en la que puedes disfrutar de una pizza y terminar con un delicioso helado, la cultura y sus gentes.

Mis top tips para disfrutar de unos días en Roma son:

• Organizar bien los días.
• Comprar tickets con antelación ya que suele haber bastante cola en casi todos los lugares.
• Algunas visitas son gratuitas el primer domingo de cada mes.
• Ver el atardecer desde alguno de los puentes que pasan por el rio o en frente de la Basílica de San Pedro.
• ¡Tener cuidado en los pasos de peatones!
• Paciencia si conduces por la ciudad
• Y, por último, disfrutar cada día de un buen helado. Simplemente son deliciosos.

Rome, the eternal city. The one that will conquer you with its architecture, sculptures, history, etc. The city is a museum itself that never rests, that vibrates from the morning ‘til the sunset, the one that makes you feel you are back in time…

After 4 days exploring every corner of Rome, walking more than 80 kilometres on foot, I can say that the city has captivated me.

St Peter’s Basilic with its enormous square surrounded by columns and one of the most well-known chapels in the World: the Sistine Chapel; St Angelo's Castle, imposing, where you can see the bridge with the same name that crosses the Tiber River; the Pantheon, rough with a lot of history behind, the Colosseum, where you can imagine a gladiator battle or how years after turned into a cult place; the Roman Forum, a city inside another one where the ruins tell you what happened there… all of this and much more is what you can expect when you visit Rome, a city that not only will captivate you for its history but also for its gastronomy where you can enjoy a tasty pizza or have the best ice creams of the World, their culture and people.

My top tips to enjoy a few days in Rome are the following ones:

• Organise your days
• Buy tickets in advance (skip the line) as you can get long queues if you don’t have them in most of the places.
• Get free entrance tickets, to some of the places, every first Sunday of each month.
• Enjoy a sunset from any of the bridges that crosses the river or in front of St Peter’s Basilic.
• Be careful crossing over the crosswalks! It is a bit risky, some crazy driving in Rome!.
• Be patient if you drive in the city.
• And lastly, enjoy an ice cream every day. Simply, they are delicious!

Este es uno de los primeros posts en el que te hablo de mis productos de belleza favoritos. La verdad que suelo usar muy pocos productos en mi día a día para maquillarme, pero siempre me gusta usar los productos que mejor se adapten a mi tipo de piel y con los que me sienta a gusto. 

En este post, te voy a hablar de mis 6 productos favoritos para la base del maquillaje.

This is one of the first posts where I am going to talk about my favourite beauty products. To be honest, I normally use very few beauty products in my daily life but I really like those products which best suit my skin type and make me feel comfortable. 

In this post, I am going to talk about my 6 favourite base beauty products.

Una de las zonas a las que le presto mucha atención son los ojos. Además de la crema que me aplico religiosamente todos los días, también me aplico el concealer de NARS. Este producto me encantó desde que lo probé, ya que cubre bastante la zona.

Para el párpado superior y, para que la sombra de ojos dure más tiempo uso el primer de BareMinerals, sólo con una mini gota tengo para todo el párpado y además de mantener la sombra de ojos por más tiempo también proporciona un color natural al párpado.

One of the areas I really focus on is the eyes. Besides the eye cream that I use every day, I also apply the NARS concealer. I really loved it since the moment I tried it on, as it covers really well the area.

For the upper eyelid I use the Bareminerals primer. Your eyeshadow will last longer! Only with a mini drop you can cover the eyelid and in addition to maintain your eyeshadow longer in your eyes, it will provide a natural colour to the eyelid.

Para cubrir esos poros que tanto nos encantan… 😨 uso el primer de Benefit, The Porefessional. La textura es súper ligera y apenas noto que lo llevo puesto. Perfecto, si eres como yo que no te gusta llevar productos de maquillaje muy espesos.

To cover those pores we really love… 😨 I use the Porefessional from Benefit. The texture is very light and I don´t notice I am wearing it. Perfect, if you are like me that you don´t like wearing very thick make up products.

Para la base de la cara, suelo usar el maquillaje Double Wear de Estee Lauder y los polvos sueltos de Nars. Sin duda, mis favoritos ya que cumplen perfectamente su función. 

Y para finalizar y añadir esos toques de luminosidad en la cara, uso el iluminador de Yves Saint Laurent que es muy cremoso y además ligero, como a mí me gusta. 😍

For the face, I use Double Wear foundation from Estee Lauder and the loose powder from Nars. Without any doubt they are my favourites as they perfectly accomplish their functions. 

Finally to add those touches of luminosity, I use the Touch Eclat from Yves Saint Laurent. It is creamy and light, just how I like it! 😍

El pasado fin de semana asistí al evento “Stylist Live” en Londres, un evento para las entusiastas de la moda, la belleza, y el estilo de vida en general. El evento estuvo súper chulo, con cientos de pop-up boutiques de moda, joyería, comida (sobre todo) orgánica y saludable, papelería y mucho más; charlas y entrevistas de expertos en la industria, y stands en los que podías darte un capricho como hacerte una manicura o que te peinaran. 

Realmente no sabía por dónde empezar, ya que el Olympia London es inmenso y no me quería perder nada. En este post te voy a hablar de las tres cosas que más me gustaron del evento. 

Last weekend, I went to the Stylist live event in London. An event for fashion, beauty and lifestyle enthusiasts. The event was amazing, with over hundreds of pop-up boutiques about fashion, jewellery, organic and healthy food, stationary and many more; talks and interviews of experts in the industry and stands where you could pamper yourself with a manicure or treat your hair. 

I really didn´t know from which stand to start looking at, as the Olympia London is huge and I didn´t want to miss anything at all. In this post, I will let you know 3 things I really loved from the event. 

Una de las cosas con las que más disfruté fue la pasarela de moda de Stylist en la que se enfocaron en cuatro tendencias: el color, outfits para la oficina, moderno ecléctico, la moda de Nueva York en los años 70 y en looks de fiesta. Crearon unas combinaciones muy ponibles y asequibles para todas.

One of the things I like the most was the Stylist catwalk, where we could see the autumn/winter 17 trends like the colour clash, suits you, modern eclectic, NYC seventies and midnight magpie. The outfits were very wearable and affordable for everyone.
